Eco-friendly USA One-Stop Shop

NEXT ORDER: MARCH 1-14TH (DEADLINE EXTENDED FROM THE 12TH TO THE 14TH @11:59pm central). The potential is always there that this could be the last ever order. If there’s not sufficient demand, I don’t need to continue to offer this opportunity. IF there is another order, it would be in September, so stock up!!

SHIPPING NOTE: I have always used mostly the regional rate shipping boxes, which used to be based on distance from me. Now they will be calculated based on both weight and distance. Some boxes might be more than you’re used to in the past, if you’re close to me (I ship from WI) and it’s not a heavy order, it might be cheaper than in the past.

****I reserve the right to cancel any items on your list from vendors that didn’t receive enough orders to meet the minimums, or close to it. I plan to get extras of everything I’m offering for my online website: Pure Play Kids. But if I need to order a case of 12 of something, and only 2 are ordered via the club I will have to cancel that offering. I do always reach out to the group to try to collect a few more orders when needed.

I wanted to share this, to give you an idea of the cost savings you can take advantage of by using the buying club. Her order totaled $139.00. She ordered from 6 of the 20 vendors available, paid no sales tax (unless you’re in my state of WI, sorry neighbors), and paid $8.15 for shipping. I would say this is an average order, some are smaller, some are much, much larger. Also, many vendors offer exclusive sales and items just to the buying club. 1st time customer:  “I finally placed my first Buying Club order this round and am SO thrilled with everything! Everything arrived safely and quickly! I took a few minutes to see how much I saved on shipping/tax and it came out to an amazing $35!!! Love this process for buying small/local and will definitely be placing another order in the fall! A million thanks to Jessica Brandt and all you do for this group! ” Below is her order.

And another super awesome cost savings comparison from Anne: Just want to add my recent savings through the buying club. I ordered from 9 vendors. Shipping would have been $74.66 if I had purchased separately. $17.10 for ONE priority box from Jess. And as a disclaimer, I wouldn’t have purchased one item from Mountain Rose Herbs and paid $8.28 shipping, but through the club, I can get just one item!! I can’t thank you enough, Jess! Your time and dedication to the buying club is invaluable to me!

  • A Remedy for That-  Melissa’s products have become very popular via the buying club. Her tallow balm is especially helpful for super dry winter skin. I absolutely LOVE her magic elixir (fire cider). Her elderberry syrup kits make creating a batch of syrup super easy and delicious, or buy it premade! Here’s an update from her that she wanted us all to know: I just want to give an update. I have officially run out of the tallow I had been using from a farm in PA. Now that we are in GA, I am able to source suet from a farmer near by. I am rendering the suet down myself. I have also added organic calendula flowers. I am infusing all of the tallow base with the flowers for an added benefit. Also this latest round of Magic Elixir is made from all locally sourced ingredients, not using Whole Foods at all. That being said these farms aren’t certified organic, although I felt locally sourcing the ingredients was more important than an official certification which many small farmers can’t afford. (wanting to have full disclosure). My review:
  • Earth Paints-  I’ve used the egg dye kits with my kids for many years, they’re truly lovely. The wooden egg kits are fun keepsakes, and you can even glue a string on to them to hang them on an Easter egg tree! Just offered once/year, so good time to grab a paint kit to have on hand as well. My kids have always loved this paint! It’s fun to mix it yourself.
  • Farmacology-Poofy CBD has changed names with the changing of Poofy ownership. Kristina (Poofy’s former owner) still owns the CBD line.  There is a separate link for those products:
  • Frontier Coop:   Lots of options for Easter Basket additions from brands like YumEarth, and Ocho, many other candy options as well. They truly have a TON of stuff!! Much like Mountain Rose Herbs, TONS of organic herbs, spices, teas. Also non-organic offerings (I hope you’ll choose organic, but won’t tell you what to do). Also many personal care brands I have on my greenwashers/not recommended list, but I assume you’ve done your homework and won’t say you can’t order what you want. I really enjoy the Simply Organic brand. I love their simmer pouches, coconut curry is my fave!
  • Life and Balance No website but Facebook page to check out products and ask any questions of Nicole, check out her reviews tab: Nicole’s magnesium-based deodorant has been quite popular via the club orders, and many love that refills are available!
    Individual Roll On – 4 oz. – $7
    Refill bottle – 16 oz. – $20
    Refill + Roll On – $25
Scents: Lemon (best seller because of anti-odor properties), Lavender, unscented.
    **Lip Balm – $3
Flavors: Black Cherry, Cupcake, Peppermint, Spearmint
**Scrubbie – $5 (Great for cleaning tough dishes or vegetables)
  • LuSa Organics – Huge selection of personal care products, but her specialty is bar soap. The scratch & dent packs are not available via your club order, she usually just has 1-2. Prices as marked on website. Local to me here in SW WI!
  • Mama Suds- NEW: 4 bar soaps. I’m urging every, single one of you to try is her dishsoap bar! I absolutely love it, and will be switching from Poofy’s (which I never thought would happen)! It is a solidified version of her castile soap, which literally is JUST saponified olive oil! I’ve tried numerous dish soap bars, I want to love them, but so far all I’ve tried leave a film. Hers not only offers some nice suds, but it rinses clean from my dishes (which are 95% glass). No plastic, just a little tin (she plans to offer refills in the future, minus the tin so hold on to it!). And it lasted a reallllllly long time! Gallon sizes not available through the club, but it’s a great time to grab a 16oz sample size of her laundry soap or castile liquid.
Age Defying Cream, ONLY 4 AVAILABLE @ $18
  • Mountain Rose Herbs- Thousands of products to choose from. I get most of my essential oils, tea, herbs & spices from them. Shipping is very expensive directly from them, which makes them one of the most popular buying club vendors.
  • Poofy Organics: Over 100 USDA certified organic products, more than any other line on the market (to my knowledge). Huge selection of personal care, cosmetics, and home care!! Handmade in New Jersey.
  • Pure Play Kids- Made in USA, battery-free, screen-free, hands-on, DIY FUN for all ages! I sold my remaining inventory to my niece! So please check out what she has available, she’s already added some new inventory! Just list your items along with everything else, I’ll have her pull them from her inventory.
  • salonsolids Granules that you mix with water to create liquid hair care products! I love her shampoo and conditioner as a plastic-free, no waste, customizable option!  New offering:  dry shampoo for hair growth here are current ingredients (full spectrum hemp coming soon). Organic amla, nettle root, boswellia extract, rosemary and black pepper essential oils and shungite. Only offered once/year, so stock up now!
  • Simply Rustic-  (her site was hacked recently, so this is a temporary url until that gets straightened out)  No sale or clearance items available. Her lip balm is my all-time favorite! NEW: roll-on oil blends. Also offering: body butter, healing balm, body scrub, a facial care line, body + massage oil, bath tea, a little ones line!
    · 100% from Nature Ingredients
    · Fair Trade, Raw and Organic Shea Butter, Cocoa Butter and Mango Butter
    · Ethically Wildcrafted and Certified Organic Ingredients
    · Unrefined, Organic Butters and Oils – This keeps all the vitamins, minerals and other natural properties of the butters and oils intact, making them very beneficial. The color of the product comes from the unrefined butters and oils.
  • Tangie  All products are concentrated bars that you dissolve in water to make things such as laundry soap, hand soap, etc. NEW, IMPROVED shampoo bar ingredients. I’m very pleased that she removed sodium cocoa sulfate. The new base is contains: Saponified oils of Coconut Oil*, Olive Oil*, Castor Seed Oil*, Sunflower Seed Oil*, Jojoba Seed Oil*, Rice Bran Oil*, Cocoa Butter* + EO’s for scent. I have exclusively switched to her laundry bars as a plastic-free option that works well for me! My review:
  • Sep vendors: Luffa Gardens, Preserve, Rada,

*WHY DO AN ECO-FRIENDLY BUYING CLUB? I’ve been doing reviews for many years to find the safest products on the market for my family & yours. I have discovered several fabulous lines of products! It is discouraging to find out how much shipping is just to try a few products. The idea is to place large orders with each company as a group. Get your friends, family, co-workers, and neighbors to go in on an order with you!

*HOW DO I ORDER? Email orders to me at INCLUDE your mailing address & a list of your items. Include: name of the company, names and quantities of the products you want, size (if there is more than one option for that product…2 oz, 4 oz, etc), and the price of the item so I don’t have to look it up.

*HOW OFTEN DO YOU DO THIS? 2 times/year: March & September as of 2022. Delivery is a couple weeks after the deadline, as soon as I have everything in my hands I start filling orders in the order received. I send your final invoice with shipping as soon as I know that amount, you pay, I ship.

*WHAT IS THE ADVANTAGE OF ORDERING AS A GROUP? Consolidated shipping costs! My homemade deodorant is a good example of how expensive it is to ship. I ask $8 for a jar, and it costs $7.45 to ship via the USPS. Now, you can purchase a jar of my deodorant, dish soap from Poofy Organics, toothpaste from Earthpaste,  a bottle of castile soap from MamaSuds, laundry powder from Molly’s Suds, a body scrub from Simply Rustic (random example) & you’ll only pay one shipping fee and receive it all in one box from me to you! The idea is that you can order as much as you want, from whichever companies you want, and the more the better to fill up a flat rate box!

*WHAT DO YOU NEED FROM ME? Patience. Realize that this is a slow process, but hopefully one that will get products in your hands that you’ve been waiting to try. If you need something immediately, please order it yourself.

*HOW DO I PAY FOR MY ORDER? You have 2 options: PayPal or personal check (many have gone to e-checking, which is fine too). You will be sent a final invoice once your order is ready to ship (I’ll send you a QuickBooks invoice with the total amount). As soon as I receive payment your order will be on the way!

*WHERE DO YOU SHIP AND IS IT INSURED? I ship anywhere in the US & territories, and to any APO. I use USPS Priority flat & regional rate boxes, which includes $50 in insurance and free tracking. Additional insurance is optional. Your final invoice will include the quote for full coverage; if you choose not to purchase it subtract it from your total when paying. Out of ~500 packages shipped/year, I’ve only ever made a handful of claims for leaking or damaged goods, all under $50. But, if your $300 package gets lost or completely damaged, and you did not purchase the additional insurance, all we’ll be able to recover is $50.

THE FINE PRINT: I can’t be responsible for anything once the package leaves my hands. All sales are final. I will fix any errors I make, but if you order the wrong product, or aren’t happy with it, you’re stuck with it.

Cold Bee Gone –

Thanks for such a quick response. So just to make sure I’m clear… To purchase from your club I choose items from the above shops links? They will all be shipped for 41 bucks? And you have reviewed all these items and consider them safe? Almost sounds too good to be true lol

I used the $12/$40 shipping as an example. I don’t make any money on shipping, and there are various box sizes. I package it in the smallest box possible. I did receive your order, and it actually seems like it should be a perfect fit for the $40 box, but I CAN’T guarantee that until I have it in front of me… I’ll do everything I can to ship it for that, or less! And no, I haven’t reviewed every single item from every single vendor on the list, but have personally used many of the items, especially from the personal care vendors, and know & trust the lines to provide only safe products. You truly are getting the very best of the very best, and I have spent years looking!!

Very active, just took 110 orders for the Feb group order! They’re quarterly, the next one will be in May, you can email me your order between 5/1-5/16, then there’ll be an Aug & Nov order. I also always buy extras & put those up once all the orders are filled in a post-club sale, so if you want to make sure not to miss that you should join my group page where I post all announcements:

Is the washcloth shop still on the list? I would love to see what they offer, but cannot get the link to work. Thanks!

      Jan 11, 2016 @ 03:16:00

She will have new offerings for us in Feb for sure! But after Feb she’s going to go to every 6m or once/year as sales have dropped quite a bit. It’s one of those things, once you have them you’re set for awhile! But the answer is yes, they will be available, stay tuned!

so how much is final shipping cost? I see may club has mentioned that its $2 more but I am new here so dont know how much it was before.

    • ecofriendlymamausa
      Jul 12, 2016 @ 20:38:00

Sorry I just saw this now. I use regional and flat rate shipping via the USPS. The cheapest something can ship for is $6 and it goes up from there. A large flat rate box for example is $18.75 but can hold hundreds of dollars worth of product. I don’t charge any handling fees, only exactly what it costs to ship your box. So, it totally depends on what you order. Many orders ship for $6.80 in a padded flat rate envelope. The next order is right around the corner, 8/1-8/15 with deliver the beginning of Sep.

I do not have PayPal or Venmo or any of the other ways to pay that you mentioned. I can give you a credit card or my debit card number.

    • ecofriendlymamausa
      Mar 12, 2023 @ 20:34:43

Yes, I can send you an invoice via PayPal and you can use your credit or debit card. It will take 3% in fees from my total, but it is what it is. You can send a check too, it just takes an extra week or so, on top of what is already a lengthy process. But I’m okay with that, if you are. Thanks for asking!

Ok thanks. Did you see my order? If not I’ll send it again. If so, let me know precisely how to do this as I’m techy challenged ((70), and unfamiliar with venmo etc.
        thanks for your help.
