    Chocolate syrup

This recipe fills a 16 oz. Mason jar perfectly to the brim.

***1 1/2 cup raw turbinado sugar- most recipes I looked at called for 3/4 granulated white, and 3/4 cup brown sugar. I use turbinado for everything… Use what you have!
***1 cup cocoa powder, I use organic dutch. My co-op sells all-natural too, which is cheaper, but I’m willing to pay more for the organic–it’s FABULOUS!
***1 Cup cold water
***1 TBSP vanilla
Mix all ingredients, except vanilla. Boil for 3 min on med. heat, reduce to low & simmer another 5 min. That’s it! Add vanilla & let cool!: https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=595683093780668&set=a.508380609177584.131183.397517646930548&type=3&theater

I can’t believe it’s just banana “ice cream”!!!!

I’ve seen this recipe floating around the web, and finally got around to trying it. I was skeptical that it would be that great, because how could bananas alone make a great ice cream? It seemed too good to be true. I was AMAZED at how quick, easy & delicious this turned out. The texture was what really impressed me—it truly is custard-like, not icy at all. It took less than 1 minute to get to a perfect consistency! You have to try it for yourself. Every single bite I took I thought (& said to my hubby) “I can’t believe this is just bananas”. Yummmmmmm!

**Simply cut up 2-3 large bananas into small pieces (less than 1” thick). Use brown spotty bananas that you’d use for banana bread, they have more banana flavor. Freeze on a baking sheet (I laid them on unbleached parchment paper to make it easy to get them off later)
**Once frozen, throw them in your food processor on high until creamy
**That’s it. I’ve already been thinking of all the yummy things I can add to it like: my homemade sunflower seed butter, coconut, vanilla bean, cinnamon, homemade chocolate syrup, Chia or hemp seeds, whatever you like! https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=570405466308431&set=a.508380609177584.131183.397517646930548&type=3&theater

    Phyllo Dough Berry Bake:

One of the easiest desserts you’ll ever make. Phyllo dough (4-5 layers each brushed with melted butter), a layer of cream cheese whipped with honey (1/2 block cream cheese + ~1/2 cup honey), a layer of sliced almonds, and freshly picked raspberries or any fruit of your choice. Fold & wrap them up, sprinkle sugar & cinnamon on top, both optional of course, make a slit for steam to escape, and put in oven 15 min @ 350 & they’re golden brown & oozing, and smelling ammmmmazing! Flaky, gooey, fruity, Yummmmy!! I’ve made this with brie cheese, and raspberry or strawberry jelly. The combinations are endless. The cream cheese is optional. My next one is going to be just applesauce inside! https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=535295266486118&set=a.508380609177584.131183.397517646930548&type=3&theater
