Eco-Kids crayon review: $9.99 for 6 colors. Exploratory crayons handmade with natural and organic fruit, plant and vegetable extracts from annatto seed, beets, carrots, curcumin, purple sweet potato, red cabbage and spinach, soy, bee and palm wax. These crayons didn’t break as easily as the Clementine crayons, but after several uses my babe did manage to break a few chunks off. The colors are not real vibrant, but as the description implies, they’re meant for exploratory play. Children, especially young ones just starting to color don’t need 40 colors of extremely vibrant shades. They need SAFE options to start exploring putting marks on paper. It’s adults who will look at them and think the colors are dull. I think these are a GREAT option for babes 1st crayons!! http://shop.ecokidsusa.com/product/eco-crayons This company also makes eco- dough, finger paint, egg-coloring kits, art pads, stickers, paste, and soon to be releasing markers. Eco-kids provided these to me complimentary for review purposes, which I really appreciate!
